First things first, I was impressed with the hip feel of the place. Similar to the moe's/chipotle or mid pizza DIY dine in places. I chose the build your own 11" pizza and customized it with: garlic crust, white sauce, mozzarella, feta, pepperoni, bacon, and pineapple. My own creation! Side of garlic Parmesan sauce and basil pesto sauce. It was more delicious than I ever expected. And the prices were beyond reasonable! For an 11" pizza it was under $10 for unlimited build your own. A half was $5.99!  I'm stingy with money so this always a plus for me!

The people here were so nice and informative. As it was my first time, the employees were eager to give suggestions to better enhance my pizza and dinning experience. The place offered beer on tap and wine and had fresh made gelato! Very good will definitely be back next time I'm in vero!

Pros..outdoor seating..pizza is quick and you pick want you want on. Decent pricing. They have subs, pasta and salad as well.
Cons..didnt like the dough which of course makes the base for the pizza therefore I was not a fan. I had the sausage on it and spit out piece of fat. Yuck

Similar to Mod Pizza and 1000 degrees but of the 3 I personally perfer the others.

We had read so many good reviews locally for Urban Bricks and were really excited to check it out--especially because we LOVE MOD Pizza (which is a 35 minute drive for us).

    Such a colossal disappointment.

UB has a very comprehensive allergen menu online and one of our kids is severely allergic to dairy and soy. There were a few things she could have based on the online menu so off we went to meet friends for dinner.

First of all, the line was a DISASTER. Toppings all over the prep area, in other containers, floor. Cross contamination nightmare to the Nth degree.

First question I asked: what are your wings fried in? I got a blank stare, the manager heard and came over and said they're cooked in the oven. Ok, great! Are they marinated in anything? Manager answered that yes, they're preseasoned. Ok, with what? Ummmm let me check. Manager comes back and says "unfortunately I have no idea."

    Ok. So no wings.

Can I order the health nut salad with no cheese and without the vinaigrette dressing? We have a serious dairy and soy allergy. I get looked at like I have 3 heads and the girl thrusts her hand into the greens on the line and puts a handful of arugula with shredded cheese in our bowl.

"So I can't have dairy. Cheese is dairy. Do you have other greens?"

She points to another container of greens, also full of cheese.

"Those also have cheese in them. That will send us to the emergency room."

Again, I get looked at like I'm speaking another language.

"Do you have ingredients for the salad in the back or under the bar that aren't contaminated with anything else?"

"Yeah I guess we can make it in the back."

So we get the salad. I ask for extra virgin olive oil. They give us vegetable oil (that's part soy).

I give up, and the two that were able to eat ate their pizzas and we left.

The pizzas were good (so I was told) but I won't go back on the mere principle that it was a complete mess, their people weren't trained on allergy protocol (or common sense, it seems), and their customer service overall sucked.

Such a disappointment. Welcome to Vero.

    UPDATE:

Like I said, I visited a month later. I see the improvements I wanted to be made. I'm impressed, they've really grown in just a month. The only criticism I could give is spreading the topping to the edge instead of piling in the middle. (Just my preference I suppose).

I've left four star review because there's always a need for improvement and at this pace I believe this location can achieve it.

With this update I have added an additional picture. (No beer this time, maybe next time )

Alright, alright, I may be a bit of a pizza nazi considering I used to work for papa Murphy's in my younger years. But dang, this is the slowest service I've ever had at an urban bricks.

I think there's a lot of room for growth in the youth that works here. Management needs to come in a do a good job actually training. I can see tons of flaws within from POOR training.

Will try in a month or so and see if there have been any improvem

The concept of building your own pizza is wonderful and very fun for adults and children. Remind you of going to Pizza Gallery as a child I choose it all kinds of crazy stuff to put on top of your pizza and enjoying every bite.

This place is the new hotness in town. I was going to give them a fair review and then I reviewed their business page I noticed all the fake reviews. Someone has been paying for reviews. You lost the star just because of that alone.

Don't bother with the garlic bread. They just take a pizza dough cut it in half and brush garlic butter on it. So you get garlic pizza crust. When you go to other pizza places in town or else we're even National chains the garlic bread is a different dough than the pizza dough. Main different she'll notice about the difference in garlic bread cuz you'll be used to garlic sticks and garlic bread that is Puffy rise and Arie. Garlic pizza crust they dip in your pizza crust in the garlic sauce from Papa John's. Another star lost.

My pizza arrived it was pretty undercooked the cross was not crispy it was pretty chewy I pulled apart the odd fashion indicated it was undercooked. The oven they use is a cool concept of him I wish it would work out better but the chain fed pizza oven at Pizza Hut is currently working on a more efficient level. Another star lost.

Service was very slow on my vist but I'm not going to mark off a star for it because they are new and trying to get dialed in.

The store was very clean a very modern look and feel to it the bathroom was also clean. This was a Saving Grace they kept your two star. I'm still highly turned off about all the fake reviews they paid for. I might give then a try again but at the price vs quality it just wasn't there.
